Transphorm has chosen the CHA Resolution System.
Goleta, California start-up, Transphorm, has chosen the CHA Resolution, High Vacuum Deposition System for their next expansion. The Resolution System is a recently updated version of the industry standard for high through-put deposition, the CHA Mark 50. The Resolution System is economical, features fast loading and unloading, and offers broad process flexibility, expandability, and reliability. Transphorm's Resolution System will feature interchangeable lift off and 3 dome planetary fixtures allowing many diverse operations from the same chamber and consistently superior film uniformity. The Electron Beam equipped Resolution will feature a solid state electron beam power supply, programmable sweep control, and Siemens PC/PLC control. CHA Industries has been serving the domestic and international semiconductor manufacturing markets for over 40 years. CHA Industries Presents Load Lock/Isolated Source Resolution System at Semicon West.
In what turned out to be one of CHA's most successful shows Semicon West, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, July 12-14, 2011, was the perfect venue to introduce the new CHA trade show display. The new display was almost entirely an in-house project for the Company. Everyone and every department contributed their special expertise in design, procurement, and construction. CHA was pleased to utilize our new Trade Show Booth to present one our most popular family of products which is the Resolution/Mark 50. The continued growth of the Resolution/Mark 50 style of system is now available with Isolation and/or Load Lock capabilities. The attendees greeted this improvement with enthusiasm and also applauded the future capability of the Multi Source Rod Fed Gun that will greatly enhance production capacity. Other features of the Resolution systems include a CHA Lift Off Fixture with Heat and an Ion Source. The chamber also contained a CHA Smart Source Electron Beam Gun deep in the chambers source well. The Smart Source features and benefits were more accessible through the Smart Source that was displayed on the greeting table. CHA Industries, Inc. brought its trade show booth to SEMICON CHINA 2011, March 15 – 17. The Semicon China show was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China. Exhibiting at the show was a very successful experience due to the volume of interest in the CHA product line and services. Visitors to the show met with and discussed their specific requirements with Paul Metzler, Executive Vice President-World Wide Operations; and Ed Hodges, Sales Applications Engineer. The booth was busy almost constantly with current customers, industry executives and students from the many Technical Institutes near Shanghai and around the world. CHA looks forward to attending the show again in 2012.
